This site came about as an exercise for me to learn a little bit about web development.  I was going to Athens in June 2001 with a group of six other people.  I set up this site to outline the trip and to provide information about the places we were going to visit (I lived in Athens from 1990-1994).  Since I had a decent amount of content already on here, I'm converting the site into a general guide to one of my favorite places in the world.  Hopefully, others will find this site useful when visiting Greece.
